Changes to Portability of CRB Disclosure

During the Area AGM some questions arose as to the necessity for new CRB disclosures for adult members who were changing roles.  Gilwell staff have confirmed that there is now greater portability within the Association.

There has been an update to the information on the requirements for CRB disclosure for adult members.  A new factsheet is available (amended in March 2010) which can be downloaded HERE or ordered from the Scout Information Centre.

However, you should be aware that CRB procedures will change from July 2010 when the Association is required to move to an eCRB system which will focus input activity at the District level.  More details will follow in due course.
